Sugar cookie truffles are sweet little round confections that taste exactly like sugar cookies. They should, because you literally use ground sugar cookies to make them. These are a fun candy to make with kids and take about 60 minutes.

Ingredients for sugar cookie truffles
- White Chocolate
- Use the bar, not chips. The baking bar you find in the baking supplies aisle is great.
- Sugar Cookies, crushed
- I used Christmas sugar cookies from my local grocery store's bakery.
- Sprinkles
- I recommend sprinkles vs. colored sanding sugar.
- Butter
- Salted or unsalted works here.
Instructions for sugar cookie truffles
These come together fairly easily. Make sure you bottom your truffles before fully dipping them so they hold their shape when being dipped and don't fall apart.
First, Pulverize sugar cookies using a food processor. You want fine crumbs not not flour consistancy. Set aside.
Second, melt butter and white chocolate together, stir until smooth.
Third, add in sprinkles and cookies, stir until dough forms.
Fourth, refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Fifth, scoop into balls. I used a 1" cookie scoop.
Sixth, melt white candy wafers. Bottom truffle by using forefinger and thumb to dip ⅛" in coating. Set on parchment until coating sets up.
Finally, fully dip truffle in candy coating and top with holiday sprinkles while coating is setting up.
