These crescent roll apple turnovers are special.
My family absoutley loves these and cannot get enough. The apple slice warms up just enough to release a small amount of juice while staying nice and crunchy. The small amount of brown sugar and cinnamon used sweetens the crescent roll dough, making an amazing flavor combination. Warm from the oven, these will be gone before you know it!
Ingredients
Whether it’s a main dish, a quick side to finish out my meal or an easy snack to make, Food Lion has great easy meals ready in under 30 minutes. These crescent roll apple turnovers take 15 minutes and only 5 ingredients.
- 1 can of Food Lion crescent rolls
- 1 apple

- 1 teaspoon of Food Lion ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of Food Lion vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F. Roll out crescent rolls on a prepared baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Slice an apple into eight equal slices.
Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla in a small bowl. Spread on top of the rolled out crescent triangles.
Roll one apple slice per triangle in the crescent roll dough. Top with additional vanilla, brown sugar, and cinnamon mix. Bake for 9-12 minutes.
Hint: using a circular apple slicer divides an apple into eight even pieces - perfectly matching the eight crescent roll triangles!
