This blog post is sponsored by Food Lion! I love that Food Lion is always here for me with recipes that are ready under 30 minutes and are 10 ingredients or less.

Food Lion not only helps save money on fresh ingredients but also saves me time so I can focus on the times that matter the most. Whether it’s an easy breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack, Food Lion is here to help ease off the load from your busy schedule.

Check out some of my favorite Food Lion recipes, like pepperoni pizza bread and pumpkin spice pull apart bread!

These crescent roll apple turnovers are special.

My family absoutley loves these and cannot get enough. The apple slice warms up just enough to release a small amount of juice while staying nice and crunchy. The small amount of brown sugar and cinnamon used sweetens the crescent roll dough, making an amazing flavor combination. Warm from the oven, these will be gone before you know it!

    Ingredients

Whether it’s a main dish, a quick side to finish out my meal or an easy snack to make, Food Lion has great easy meals ready in under 30 minutes. These crescent roll apple turnovers take 15 minutes and only 5 ingredients.

Roll one apple slice per triangle in the crescent roll dough. Top with additional vanilla, brown sugar, and cinnamon mix. Bake for 9-12 minutes.

Hint: using a circular apple slicer divides an apple into eight even pieces - perfectly matching the eight crescent roll triangles!

    Equipment

    • baking sheet
    • parchment paper
    • apple slicer (optional)
    • butter knife
    • small bowl

    Storage

These are best consumed the same day you make them, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
