    Gummy Cola Bottles Marshmallows

    Gummy Cola Bottles + air =sour gummy cola bottles marshmallows. If you've been following along the "Will it Marshmallow" series, you'll know how to make make marshmallows from gummies, along with things like: peach ring marshmallow rice crispy treats, gummy shark marshmallows, swedish fish marshmallows, and of course, jolly rancher marshmallows.

    What are gummy cola bottles?


    Gummy cola bottles are a type of candy that are shaped like miniature cola bottles and have a gummy texture. They are typically flavored to taste like cola, giving them a sweet and fizzy flavor reminiscent of cola drinks. Gummy cola bottles are popular among candy lovers, especially children, and are often found in candy stores, supermarkets, and online retailers. They are enjoyed as a tasty treat on their own or mixed with other candies in assorted candy mixes

    GLUCOSE SYRUP (FROM WHEAT OR CORN), SUGAR, GELATIN, DEXTROSE (FROM WHEAT OR CORN), CONTAINS LESS THAN 2% OF: CITRIC ACID, CARAMEL COLOR, ARTIFICIAL AND NATURAL FLAVORS, PALM OIL, PALM KERNEL OIL, CARNAUBA WAX, WHITE BEESWAX, YELLOW BEESWAX.

    Ingredients to make gummy cola bottle marshmallows

    • 48 ounces of gummy cola bottles ( I used 6, 8 ounce bags)

    1. Open your candy!
    2. Put them in a medium sized pot over medium heat. Melt until fluid.
    3. Pour liquid gummies into the bowl of a 5 quart stand mixer with wire whisk attachment.
    4. Start with turning mixer to LOW and very gradually increase the speed until you get to high without having the mixture splash. Mix on high for 4 minutes.
    5. Pour into a prepared greased pan and let sit for a minimum of 4 hours, undisturbed.
    6. Cut into squares.
    7. Toss in powdered sugar.

    Equipment

    For these you'll need:

    • medium sized pot
    • planetary mixer with wire whisk attachment
    • 8 x 8 baking pan (like one you make brownies in)
    • parchment paper
    • spatula
    • knife
    • cooking spray

    Storage

    Store marshmallows in an airtight container.

    Top tips

    Tossing these marshmallows in powdered sugar after cutting will keep them from sticking to each other.

    You must grease the parchment paper before pouring marshmallow on it.

    Equipment

    • 5 quart planetary mixer
    • 8 x 8 square baking dish
    • parchment paper
    • cooking spray
    • spatula
    • medium size pot

    Ingredients
      

    • 48 ounces gummy cola bottles

    Instructions
     

    • Prepare an 8 x 8 baking dish by lining it with parchment paper and spraying the parchment paper with cooking spray. Set aside.
    • Open your gummy cola bottles.
    • Melt gummy cola bottles over medium heat in a medium sized pot.
    • Pour melted gummies into the bowl of your stand mixer, fitted with a wire whisk attachment.
    • Increase the speed to high SLOWLY - mix will want to jump out of the bowl. Once on high let it mix for 4 minutes.
    • Turn off mixer. Pour marshmallows into prepared pan.
    • Place another piece of oiled parchment paper on top of the marshmallow, creating a seal.
    • Let marshmallows sit for 4 hours undisturbed before cutting.
    • Cut marshmallows into desired size. 2" x 2" is recommended.
    • Toss marshmallows in powdered sugar.
    • Store in an airtight container.
